Congratulations and blessings to Merton, its choir and its music staff! I was tremendously surprised and overjoyed at the news of the Merton Organ's installation. Lyn Dobson and I became acquainted in the mid-'80's when I moved to central Iowa. I'm a Missouri native, but have been a staunch Iowan since 1965, a retired UMC pastor/organist/music educator/accompanist, still teaching voice, Piano, and Organ, and playing in an ELCA Lutheran Church here in Marshalltown, Iowa. Dobson's have the care of our almost-100-year-old Kilgen organ. The CD that was cut and recently released is magnificent. I really appreciate this website as well. Thanks very much. Pstr.
